Medical Freezing

If you still have approximately 3-4 weeks before you need to start your treatment, freezing your eggs before treatment begins may allow you to start a family later on—even if the therapy affects your ovaries.

After hormone stimulation, we remove the eggs in a gentle procedure and freeze them. This ensures that they are preserved in the best possible condition and will be available to you at a later date.

Cryopreservation – brief explanation

This involves freezing both unfertilized and fertilized eggs, embryos, sperm, and testicular tissue in liquid nitrogen at -196 degrees Celsius and storing them in specially designed tanks. This allows the cells to be stored indefinitely. According to previous studies, thawing even after a long period of time has not impaired pregnancy success rates and has not shown an increased rate of malformations.
