With preventive egg freezing, we first support you with gentle hormone stimulation so that several eggs mature. These are then removed in a short, outpatient procedure and gently frozen. The more mature eggs there are, the better the chances of having a child later on. The number of these eggs depends on many factors, including your age at the time of treatment, which is why several cycles are usually necessary to build up a good reserve. This allows you to decide for yourself when the right time for pregnancy is – regardless of the natural aging process of your ovaries.

Cryopreservation – brief explanation

This involves freezing both unfertilized and fertilized eggs, embryos, sperm, and testicular tissue in liquid nitrogen at -196 degrees Celsius and storing them in specially designed tanks. This allows the cells to be stored indefinitely. According to previous studies, thawing even after a long period of time has not impaired pregnancy success rates and has not shown an increased rate of malformations.
